As One We Can for the Burman's

With Angel Tree over, it's time to give some love & attention back to our adopting families. But really, how exciting is it that every child on Angel Tree reached their goal? And did you see the Diane Sawyer news special? God is opening doors, you all!! And as new families are climbing on board this beautiful adoption boat, may we all be a strong support system for each other in this new year.
We can start with showing our support for the Burman family.

They're a courageous family that goes big each time they adopt by faithfully bringing home two or more children at a time. In 2010 they brought home 3 from Ukraine, then were called back a short time later for their two daughters who came home in March of 2011. You might remember them from their last journey and all that was going on with their newest daughter, Carrington. God is moving in a mighty way in this family and they've been given that "tug" again. This time their going back for for two special boys. Steven and Tony. Tony's been waiting a very long time and is just about ready to enter his teen years. You'd never know it by looking at his picture though. You can see some more great pics of him on the Burman blog.
Brian & Shelly are working hard at raising the funds, having silent actions and fundraising dinners, but they still need more help to bring their boys home. They've submitted their dossier and are waiting for their travel date. Every cent helps, no amount to small..You can also help by re-posting about the Burman's on your personal blog and on your Face book page. The more we spread the word, the more helping hands are their to support each other.
And to all those who've wondered how adding to your family in such a way is done..I'll leave you with Shelly's thoughts:
"How will you handle 9 children?
When do you have time for yourself?
How can you spend time with each child?
What will you do when they don't move out?
How will you afford to take care of their needs?
When will you say no?
How many will be enough?
Where do you put them all?
How can you get everything done?

GOD EQUIPS THE CALLED!"

You can make a donation to help the Burman's bring their boys home HERE
Luke 6:38
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Kelten (aka Tony) is 12 yrs. old & will just blossom at home!
